Drinking Water Can Help You Lose Weight


Did you know that drinking water raises your metabolic rate? Studies have shown that drinking water does in fact raise your metabolism, and improve your fat burning rate.

Listen up because this is easy and cool: drinking water before a meal can also help you feel more satisfied and eat less. So if your goal is to lose weight, drinking water for weight loss is a pretty smart move.

DO: Include water when setting your table.  Coffee and Tea should always be accompanied by water for hydration.   

How much should you drink? 

I recommend drinking a 16 ounce (500 ml) glass of water before you eat. It's refreshing and a great habit that is great for your body and will pay off.

 A Few Ways to Drink Water

In a large glass water jug; infuse water with your favourites ~ berries, citrus, watermelon, mint, cucumber, and keep in the fridge.

When out for lunch or dinner, order water.

Keep a bottle close at all times.

Alternate water for every coffee or tea.

If you like spicy foods, you know you're drinking lots of #water.
